What are your collars made of?

All of our collars are made from 100% genuine cow hide and are vegetable dyed.

Are they washable?

All Keane Collars are made from high grade leathers. Before initial wear, it is highly recommended that you treat your collar with a quality water repellent product. Apply product initially and every two to three months with regular wear.  If your collar/harness or lead happens to gets wet, allow it to dry flat at room temperature.  To clean your Keane Collar product, gently blot liquid stains with a damp cloth. In the event of salt stains from winter wear, wipe with a clean, damp cloth after each wear and dry.

Should I take any precautions when applying my pet’s liquid flea treatment?

In some cases the leather and oil can create a problem, but this usually cleans up easily with mild soap and water. It is best to allow the treatment to sit for a few hours if possible, before wearing the Keane Collars products.

Why are Keane Collars made with leather instead of nylon or some other material?

The Keane Collar design and production process requires a material that is 'self-healing'. This means that once the material is cut, the edges will not fray. Leather is a natural material that has self-healing properties. Not only is leather durable, it softens and moulds to the body for a custom fit. It is very important to note that leather is tear and puncture resistant.

Can a Keane Collar harness be worn on my pet for an extended period of time?

Precautions should be taken if a Keane Collar harness is left on a puppy or a dog .  If a dog is being crated for an extended period of time it is recommended that the both harness and collar be removed.

You have 2 choices of where to purchase a Keane collar product.  You can either purchase from the Keane Collars Online Store or from one retail store in a location near you.  You can find a list of stores on the “Store locator page".

What is the delivery time?

Orders typically ship from our Toronto warehouse within 1-2 business days of submitting an order, excluding weekends. A business day is considered to be Monday-Friday( not including holidays). Please allow an additional week for delivery travel time to your destination within continental U.S. states and Canada.

Where do you ship?

Keane Collars will ship anywhere in the World.  If you would like Keane Collar products shipped to a location other than the US or Canada, please email info@keanecollars.com and we provide pricing to your destination.

Do you sell wholesale?
